The desperate failed attempts of a man who finds himself stuck down a hole is the premise for this song. Representing the inner dialogue for a person looking and trying to reach for the moon as it passes yet again over the tunnel. To each his own. Every story has its twists and turns. Yet it is for every person to decide whether to stay in down, or continue to reach for your moon in the tunnel.
lyrics
Many many moons ago
I saw a shimmering light
Many many moons ago
I saw it shimmering bright
Saw myself drifting closer
to the waters edge
Saw my mind as it sunk
into the black water
Then I saw the light
as it passed me by
overhead in the wishing well
Where I lay my head
Feel the blood pulsing through
my vains my heart my body
tells me boy you got to keep on
scratching your way to the top
But I knew I had to keep on
clawing my way to the top
Brick by brick 'till I drop
Oh then it feels like I've been
going back in time again
