Imagine the argument that Judas has for Jesus. Despite being the one responsible for having Jesus arrested. Had that not happened would god's plan have included someone else to create the turn of events that would ultimately conclude the physical life of God's only son. No matter what Judas did, there was no escaping his purpose. Therein is the reason why Judas is potentially equally as responsible for creating the martyr that the world has come to know. Which is why he is portrayed as the right hand of Jesus in Di'Vinci's "Last Supper". Quite the juxtaposition with perhaps no justification.
lyrics
How can you save me
when I'm already gone
How can you love me
and condemn my soul
Oh Lord have mercy on my soul
How can you save me
when I'm already gone
but how can you kiss me
and betray god's only son
Where do I sit Lord
at the right hand of your throne
or do I go down
into the pit of hell
mmm mmm hmm mmm ooo ooo ooo yea yea
You know my son I called your name
but you betrayed my son
with a kiss on the hand
But I pray to you Lord
if you had a plan for me
won't you tell me
where to go
mmm mmm hmm mmm ooo ooo ooo yea yea
